About this role
Join Relativity Space as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting the build of Terran R rocket structures on the second shift. You'll own hardware from design through production, develop scalable build processes, and collaborate directly with technicians to solve manufacturing challenges in a fast-paced, early-stage aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Own hardware execution from design release through build, test, and delivery for vehicle sub-systems, ensuring quality and readiness
- Develop detailed build flows, work instructions, and test procedures to enable repeatable high-quality production
- Support first article builds with focus on manufacturability, repeatability, and scalable process development
- Provide hands-on floor support during build and test, resolving issues in real time and incorporating technician feedback
- Coordinate across design, supply chain, production, and test teams to ensure part readiness and schedule alignment
- Contribute to long-term manufacturing systems including tooling strategies, ERP/MES workflows, and documentation standards
