Solution Engineer, Presales - Public Sector (US Remote)

About this role

JFrog seeks a Senior Solution Engineer for the Public Sector to serve as a trusted technical advisor to federal, state, and local government clients. You'll drive presales engagements by translating complex DevSecOps and compliance requirements into tailored solutions, while partnering with sales and product teams to support government procurement and adoption.

What you'll do

• Partner with Account Executives on presales engagements, aligning technical solutions with customer goals and driving revenue
• Deliver impactful demos and Proof of Value engagements to technical and non-technical government stakeholders
• Support RFI/RFP and bid processes, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with federal procurement standards
• Navigate public sector compliance requirements including NIST, DoD frameworks (PlatformOne, IronBank), and CMMC mandates
• Guide customers through technical lifecycle, translating business objectives into solution designs and providing field feedback to product teams
• Evangelize DevSecOps best practices and develop reference architectures for federal agencies

• Public sector compliance and procurement (DoD, NIST, CMMC, impact level classifications)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux environments
• Technical sales, presales, or sales engineering experience
• Proof of concept and technical presentation delivery
• Business-to-technical communication and stakeholder engagement
• Modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
• Solution architecture and hybrid deployment design
