About this role

Keycard seeks a Sales Engineer to own end-to-end technical sales for identity and access infrastructure in the AI agent ecosystem. You'll bridge customer technical needs with product capabilities, guide enterprise deployments, and shape the SE function at a founding-stage startup.

What you'll do

  • Own technical sales cycles from discovery through security review and production rollout
  • Translate identity, policy, and security concepts into customer business outcomes
  • Design and lead workshops, pilots, and technical presentations for executives and engineers
  • Prototype integrations and unblock customers during evaluation and deployment
  • Partner with product and engineering on gaps, patterns, and enterprise readiness
  • Create demo assets, reference architectures, and technical content for reuse

  • API and SDK development and debugging
  • OAuth/OIDC and identity protocols
  • Cloud infrastructure and modern developer workflows
  • Enterprise security reviews and procurement navigation
  • Identity architecture or security architecture fundamentals
  • Technical communication with both engineers and executives
  • IAM, authorization, or workload identity (preferred)
  • Distributed systems understanding
