About this role
LangChain is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Infrastructure team and own developer productivity and quality practices across LangGraph Cloud and LangSmith. You'll design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, CI/CD improvements, and observability solutions for Kubernetes-based services and AI applications.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end test strategy across APIs, services, UI, data, and infrastructure
- Build ephemeral test environments in Kubernetes for pull requests and release candidates
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines through parallelization, caching, and quality gates
- Establish performance and reliability baselines with SLIs, SLOs, and regression detection
- Partner on incident response by reproducing issues and adding regression tests
- Pioneer quality practices for LLM applications including prompt regression testing and evaluation suites
