About this role
Legora seeks a Workplace Network Engineer to own the multi-site network infrastructure across all global offices, managing Meraki, Tailscale, and connectivity systems while ensuring security, performance, and uptime.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain reference network architecture (LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, firewall) for consistent rollout across all sites
- Administer Meraki Dashboard as single source of truth for configuration, firmware, licensing, alerting, and capacity planning
- Operate Tailscale zero-trust mesh network including ACLs, device posture, and access routing
- Proactively monitor connectivity, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize mean-time-to-recovery
- Plan and manage network installations and upgrades for new offices and refreshes, directing vendors and on-site teams
- Manage ISP and connectivity vendor relationships including contracts, SLAs, and network spend forecasting
What they're looking for
- 6+ years network engineering or infrastructure (10+ for Staff level)
- Deep Cisco Meraki multi-site experience and understanding of underlying routing/segmentation
- Network fundamentals: L2/L3, IP addressing, BGP, SD-WAN failover, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, QoS, firewall policy
- Packet-level troubleshooting with tools like Wireshark
- Multi-site network design and migration experience
- Automation and infrastructure-as-code (Meraki API, Terraform, Pulumi, scripting)
- Standards-driven approach to network design
- Vendor-agnostic network architecture thinking
