Electrical/Embedded Software Engineer Intern
About this role
Lexington Medical seeks an electrical engineering intern to support embedded systems development for minimally invasive surgical devices. You'll gain hands-on experience with PCB design, circuit debugging, hardware-software integration, and medical device regulatory standards in a 3-month summer role.
What you'll do
- Participate in continuous improvements on electrical systems and processes
- Support new product development through electrical testing, debugging, and documentation
- Contribute to embedded electrical systems design and PCB design activities
- Assist with hardware-software integration and circuit troubleshooting
- Learn and apply regulatory body standards and design control documentation
- Support R&D engineering activities for surgical stapling solutions
