R&D Engineer Associate

LG Electronics seeks an R&D Engineer Associate for its Home Appliance Manufacturing facility in Clarksville, TN. The role involves developing and improving home appliance designs through research, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration while managing product development from concept through production.

What you'll do

• Design and develop home appliance products from concept through qualification and production
• Coach project teams on design and performance standards from a customer-centric perspective
• Analyze production and customer issues using statistical methods and problem-solving techniques
• Create CAD models, 3D surface models, and physical prototypes to demonstrate design feasibility
• Manage project resources and timelines to meet development and production deadlines
• Collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure successful project execution

• Solidworks 3D and 2D CAD design
• Mechanical or electrical engineering principles
• Tolerance analysis and dimensional standards
• Manufacturing process knowledge and design for manufacturability
• Statistical analysis and problem-solving
• Project management and resource planning

• Home appliance development (preferred)
