About this role
LG Electronics seeks a mid-level HVAC Controls Engineer to lead system integration testing, controls validation, and technical coordination between North American operations and Global HQ in Korea. This role combines deep technical expertise in proprietary control systems with cross-functional leadership across internal teams, partners, and headquarters.
What you'll do
- Lead system integration testing for HVAC control systems, gateways, and cloud platforms
- Establish and manage lab environments to troubleshoot system-level issues and capture communication logs
- Verify communication interfaces and troubleshoot serial protocols (RS485, Modbus, BACnet) between equipment and systems
- Serve as primary technical liaison between North America and Global HQ, communicating findings in Korean and English
- Support pre-sales assessments and develop application guidelines, documentation, and training materials
- Monitor HVAC regulations and industry trends to identify opportunities for product improvement
