Technical Support Engineer III
About this role
LVT seeks a Technical Support Engineer III to own escalations for their AI-driven site intelligence units deployed globally. You'll diagnose complex failures across cellular, networking, and Linux systems, mentor junior support staff, drive permanent fixes with engineering teams, and maintain the runbooks that guide daily support operations.
What you'll do
- Resolve complex escalations involving cellular connectivity, networking, and Linux systems on deployed field units
- Coach tier I and tier II support agents through diagnosis and troubleshooting of difficult tickets
- Perform deep log analysis, command-line investigation, and network tracing across the full device-to-platform stack
- Identify recurring failure patterns and collaborate with engineering to implement permanent fixes
- Author and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, and diagnostic documentation
- Participate in post-incident reviews for high-severity outages and communicate with customers during critical incidents
