About this role

Join Lucid's General Assembly Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team as an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer supporting the design and launch of production-ready assembly equipment and processes. You'll work across equipment procurement, validation, installation, and operational handoff while partnering with design, quality, operations, and supplier teams to enable safe and efficient vehicle manufacturing at scale.

What you'll do

  • Assist with equipment and tooling specifications, RFQ inputs, and requirements alignment across safety, quality, cycle time, and cost
  • Support supplier coordination including proposal reviews, technical clarification, documentation, and purchase-order readiness
  • Help execute assigned equipment projects from design review through Factory Acceptance Testing, installation, commissioning, and ramp-up
  • Maintain project schedules, issue lists, risk trackers, and action-item logs to support on-time equipment launches
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Design, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve technical and launch issues
  • Assist with process validation and documentation to confirm acceptance criteria before handoff to Operations
