Lumilens
Silicon Test Engineer
About this role
Lumilens seeks a Silicon Test Engineer to develop and optimize test solutions for silicon photonics and semiconductor products across characterization, wafer sort, and final test phases. This hands-on role bridges design and manufacturing, focusing on building scalable test infrastructure, improving yield, and enabling successful product ramps in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute test programs on ATE platforms (Advantest 93K, Teradyne) from characterization through production
- Optimize test flows to improve coverage, reduce test time, and minimize cost of test
- Analyze yield and test data to identify trends, debug failures, and drive continuous improvement
- Translate design and DFT requirements into production-ready test solutions for new product introduction
- Collaborate with design, product, and operations teams to ensure testability and manufacturing readiness
- Develop high-speed test hardware and interfaces for photonics devices to meet performance requirements
What they're looking for
- ATE platform expertise (Advantest 93K, Teradyne)
- Silicon validation and production test
- DFT/DFM principles and methodologies
- High-speed and mixed-signal testing
- C/C++, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Linux-based environments
- Yield analysis and data-driven problem solving
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication
Benefits
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
- Comprehensive health benefits
- Exposure to cutting-edge silicon photonics technology
- Opportunity to work in advanced manufacturing environments
- Collaborative cross-functional team structure
- Direct impact on product quality and manufacturing success
