About this role

Matic is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build and scale internal tools that support manufacturing operations for their home robotics products. You'll work in Rust alongside mechanical, electrical, and production teams to streamline production facilities and improve cross-functional efficiency.

What you'll do

• Build and scale internal tools for production facility support
• Develop robust systems in Rust to enhance manufacturing efficiency
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams on tooling needs
• Identify infrastructure improvement opportunities for team efficiency
• Contribute to internal software systems as part of a small engineering team
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production systems
