About this role

Matic is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop PCB assemblies and electrical systems for their autonomous home cleaning robot. You'll handle the complete design lifecycle from prototyping through manufacturing, working with microcontrollers, sensors, and power systems in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and manufacture critical PCB assemblies including schematic capture, layout, and prototype bring-up
  • Select components and perform board layout for SoCs, microcontrollers, sensors, and power devices
  • Conduct rapid prototyping, debugging, and functional verification with signal characterization
  • Collaborate with mechanical and firmware teams on electromechanical integration
  • Develop test specifications and validation plans for product lifetime reliability
  • Partner with contract manufacturers on production and quality assurance
