Network Engineer (4PM-1AM)
About this role
MEMX seeks a Network Engineer for second shift (4 PM–1 AM ET) to design, deploy, and maintain low-latency trading infrastructure. You'll handle network automation, incident response, customer onboarding, and troubleshooting in a critical financial exchange environment.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and support low-latency exchange network infrastructure
- Configure enterprise and production network devices using Ansible and Python
- Monitor network alerts and error logs, responding to incidents with root cause analysis
- Execute new customer connection turn-ups and provisioning activities
- Process customer tickets including IP prefix modifications and network changes
- Troubleshoot and remediate network issues to maintain system reliability
