About this role
Mirage is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to build scalable systems powering an AI-native video platform. You'll design end-to-end backend services, integrate generative AI models into production, and collaborate with product and ML teams to ship high-impact systems in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and own backend systems end-to-end including services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure
- Solve complex distributed systems challenges around scaling, concurrency, and performance
- Integrate and operate large generative AI models in production at scale
- Instrument systems and run experiments in production to improve quality
- Design and operate core platform infrastructure with third-party integrations and security
