About this role
MongoDB is hiring a Software Engineer 3 to join the Atlas Core Identity and Access Management team in New York City. You'll lead full-stack projects spanning authentication and authorization infrastructure for MongoDB Atlas, collaborating across the engineering organization to deliver secure, user-friendly solutions at scale.
What you'll do
- Lead medium-sized full-stack projects from technical design through production delivery
- Own authentication and authorization features for MongoDB Atlas platform
- Collaborate with colleagues across ideation, requirements, design, and execution phases
- Mentor and work alongside internal and external stakeholders
- Ship production code and drive technical decision-making on IAM initiatives
What they're looking for
- Full-stack web application development (2+ years professional experience)
- Modern compiled programming language (Java, Go, C#, C++)
- JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Frontend frameworks (React, Redux)
- IAM/authentication/authorization concepts
- Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Written and verbal communication
- System design and architecture
