Specialist, Project Calibration Engineer
About this role
Scout Motors seeks a Specialist Project Calibration Engineer to lead powertrain and drive system calibration from prototype through production for their new electric and range-extended pickup trucks and SUVs. You'll own calibration milestones, collaborate across engineering teams, and create a distinctive Scout driving experience for both BEV and EREV powertrains.
What you'll do
- Own powertrain and drive system calibration activities across prototype, development, and production phases
- Manage calibration milestones, tracking, and conduct test trips for vehicles
- Modify and calibrate vehicle monitoring, diagnostic, and control functions for BEV and EREV platforms
- Support function calibration engineers with measurement equipment, test vehicles, and dataset creation
- Collaborate with powertrain hardware and chassis tuning teams to provide technical input
- Lead calibration execution, validation, and production release readiness activities
