Technical Services Engineer, Infrastructure - Weekend

About this role

MongoDB is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to provide weekend infrastructure support for enterprise customers operating MongoDB at scale. The role combines deep technical troubleshooting with customer collaboration, focusing on Kubernetes deployments, backup strategies, and production database administration.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex MongoDB issues for large enterprise customers across the entire ecosystem
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for petabyte-scale production environments
• Collaborate with customers on MongoDB Server, Search, and managed backup implementations on Kubernetes
• Diagnose end-to-end technical problems in production environments and provide real-time solutions
• Provide product feedback to shape MongoDB roadmap and tooling development
• Support weekend coverage (Wednesday-Sunday schedule after initial ramp period)

• DevOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code
• RDBMS administration (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL)
