Monks seeks a Cloud Azure Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security solutions protecting clients' cloud assets. You'll assess Azure environments for vulnerabilities, develop security policies, and guide teams on best practices while staying current with emerging threats.

What you'll do

  • Assess security posture of Azure environments to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps
  • Develop and maintain security control policies aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Design and implement cloud security solutions across infrastructure, network, identity, and access management
  • Conduct regular security audits and provide recommendations for remediation and best practices
  • Investigate and remediate security findings and misconfigurations across Azure environments
  • Participate in incident response activities and security incident investigations

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration and Conditional Access policies
  • Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and identity governance
  • PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI scripting and automation

  • Network security, encryption, and Zero Trust principles
  • Cloud security posture management tools (Defender for Cloud, Wiz, Sentinel)
  • SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect authentication protocols
