About this role
Shield AI seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design and build AI-powered learning systems for Hivemind autonomy software. This hands-on role combines generative AI development, developer tooling, and technical education to help engineers master Hivemind faster through intelligent training coaches, automated content generation, and comprehensive technical curricula.
What you'll do
- Develop an AI-powered training coach that provides context-aware guidance on Hivemind concepts and workflows
- Create prompt-based tooling that automatically generates workshops and learning content from objectives and source materials
- Build LLM-based systems that keep training materials current with product releases
- Produce highly technical training materials, hands-on labs, and assessments in collaboration with autonomy experts
- Design and implement AI tools that automate and streamline Learning & Development workflows
- Evaluate AI system quality through automated tests, human review, and performance metrics
