About this role
Muon Space seeks a generalist software engineer to develop and maintain in-house simulation infrastructure that serves multiple teams across the company. You'll bridge numerical modeling expertise with production-grade web services and high-performance compute systems, working hybrid from San Jose.
What you'll do
- Build and support simulation services for business development, mission design, operations, and software engineering teams
- Integrate physical modeling expertise into complete, production simulation products
- Gather stakeholder feedback and implement improvements to simulation tools
- Collaborate with the Software Test team to apply simulations to testing scenarios
- Contribute to work estimation, planning, and performance metrics
