About this role
Neuralink seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop custom electronics systems for surgical robotics that enable brain-computer interfaces. You'll own the complete lifecycle from requirements through manufacturing of components including motor drives, imaging hardware, power electronics, and firmware for autonomous surgical systems.
What you'll do
- Design and verify custom electronics systems across requirements, schematics, layout, manufacturing, and testing phases
- Develop power conversion, distribution, and battery management systems in the 1W-2kW range
- Design FPGA hardware for time-sensitive image processing and high-speed data acquisition applications
- Architect and implement manufacturing test automation solutions for products at 1000+ unit scale
- Oversee transition of electronics designs to production and ensure EMC, ESD, thermal, and packaging compliance
- Collaborate on robotics stage designs, motor controls, and custom camera systems for surgical implantation
