About this role
Neuralink seeks a Security Engineer to protect both corporate infrastructure and life-critical brain-computer interface products. This hybrid role combines security operations, incident response, and product security across implant firmware, surgical robotics, clinical software, and cloud platforms.
What you'll do
- Triage and investigate security alerts across endpoints, identity, network, email, and cloud; lead incident response from detection through remediation
- Build and tune detections, response automation (SIEM, EDR, SOAR), and security tooling to scale coverage
- Harden corporate security infrastructure including SSO/MFA, endpoint management, email security, and vulnerability management
- Perform threat modeling, secure design reviews, and code reviews for implant firmware, robotics, BCI, and clinical applications
- Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and triage external vulnerability reports
- Establish security standards, incident response runbooks, and secure development practices across teams
