About this role

Northwood seeks a mid-level Corporate IT Security Engineer to design and manage their identity and access control infrastructure, with deep expertise in Okta, IAM architecture, and compliance frameworks like CMMC and NIST 800-171. You'll own the identity fabric connecting corporate and government users while enforcing least-privilege access across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.

What you'll do

  • Design, configure, and maintain Northwood's Okta environment including SSO, MFA policies, application integrations, and user lifecycle management
  • Develop and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks and least-privilege policies aligned with CMMC, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-171 requirements
  • Architect and deploy a unified Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution across macOS, Windows, Linux, and iOS/Android with OS-level hardening benchmarks
  • Lead SSO onboarding for new applications and evaluate SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 implementations to ensure security compliance
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and certification campaigns, maintaining role taxonomies and segregation of duties controls
  • Integrate identity controls with endpoint management and SIEM platforms for continuous monitoring and anomaly detection
