About this role

Northwood seeks a mid-level Identity & Endpoint Security Engineer to design and manage the company's identity architecture, endpoint management, and access controls across corporate and government systems. You will serve as the IAM subject-matter expert, owning Okta administration, RBAC frameworks, MDM deployment, and compliance with CMMC, FedRAMP, and NIST standards.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end Okta tenant configuration, SSO architecture, MFA policies, and directory synchronization across corporate and government applications
  • Design and implement role-based access control frameworks with least-privilege enforcement across hybrid environments, including access request workflows and entitlement review processes
  • Architect and manage unified MDM solutions for macOS, Windows, Linux, and iOS/Android endpoints with hardening baselines aligned to CIS and DISA STIG standards
  • Lead SSO onboarding for SaaS and internal applications, enforcing SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 standards while remediating misconfigurations
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and certification campaigns to validate entitlements and enforce segregation of duties controls
  • Maintain identity telemetry integration with SIEM, ensuring continuous monitoring and anomaly detection across the identity fabric
