About this role

Blueprint seeks an Android Test Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated testing solutions for next-generation Android devices. You'll work with software engineers and quality teams to develop test automation that provisions, configures, and validates software on physical prototype devices while managing a device lab and improving test coverage.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Android applications and platform components
  • Create automation to provision, configure, deploy, and validate software on physical Android prototype devices
  • Manage a physical Android device lab including provisioning, updates, connectivity, and inventory
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and existing automation frameworks
  • Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and improve test reliability
  • Analyze software changes to identify testing gaps and prioritize regression coverage
