About this role
Oklo seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to design and integrate measurement and control systems for advanced fission reactor operations. The role involves developing instrumentation spanning multiple sensor types, control strategies, and system integration while coordinating with vendors and engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design instrumentation and control systems integrating sensors, actuators, and control components for reactor operations
- Lead technical execution of assigned systems including requirements definition, design, testing, and commissioning
- Develop control strategies and algorithms for industrial equipment and processes
- Integrate and couple engineering analyses across multiple discipline teams
- Provide technical feedback to rapid design iterations and manage vendor/EPC contractor relationships
- Document work and produce technical reports using modern tools and methodologies
