Okta seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers, driving complex identity security deals by connecting Okta's platform capabilities to business outcomes like risk mitigation and operational efficiency. You'll lead technical evaluations, navigate C-suite stakeholders, and position Okta's identity platform—including emerging AI agent security—as the premier solution for large-scale deployments.
What you'll do
- Conduct deep discovery with enterprise customers to understand pain points and translate them into Okta platform value propositions
- Present technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders (CISOs, architects, PAM admins) in business-focused language
- Articulate Okta's competitive differentiators around availability, compliance, and platform breadth to shape buyer criteria
- Guide customers through AI identity and control plane strategies for managing human and non-human identities
- Lead technical evaluation phases and overcome objections to drive enterprise deals to closure
- Build long-term consultative relationships as a subject matter expert in identity security and Zero Trust architecture
