About this role
Olsson seeks an entry-level civil engineer passionate about bridges and transportation infrastructure to join their team in Overland Park, KS. You'll contribute to design, drafting, research, and site observation across bridge, retaining wall, and drainage projects while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
What you'll do
- Perform CAD drafting and basic project design work
- Conduct research and prepare technical reports
- Travel to job sites for observation and documentation
- Collaborate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and stormwater engineers
- Assist with construction engineering services and inspections
- Support load ratings, rehabilitation assessments, and dam-related projects
