Olsson is seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer to join their South Facilities Engineering and Design team, focusing on high-performance building projects across various sectors. This role offers the opportunity to own design packages and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior engineers and positively impacting communities.
What you'll do
- Own structural design packages for various systems
- Produce and review drawings and models in Revit/AutoCAD
- Apply industry codes to ensure safety and cost-effectiveness
- Assist in project planning and maintain scope and schedule
- Participate in quality assurance by conducting checks and reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to proposals
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 4+ years of structural design experience
- Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD
- Familiarity with structural analysis tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
- Ability to lead and mentor
