Android Engineer, ChatGPT ImageGen

About this role

OpenAI is hiring an Android Engineer to build image generation and editing features within the ChatGPT mobile app. You'll translate advanced AI capabilities into intuitive, performant experiences for millions of users, working across research, product, design, and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Build and ship Android features for image generation and editing experiences
• Create intuitive UIs that make AI capabilities accessible and seamless
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Research, and Engineering teams on multimodal features
• Optimize performance, reliability, architecture, testing, and developer tools
• Improve media workflows, rendering, networking, and responsiveness across Android devices
• Own projects end-to-end from ideation through launch and iteration
