OpenAI seeks an experienced Software Engineer to build foundational monetization and ads infrastructure systems. This 0→1 role involves architecting scalable, privacy-preserving platforms while collaborating closely with product, design, and research teams to bring next-generation monetization experiences to market.

What you'll do

• Design and scale core infrastructure for monetization and ads products
• Develop advertiser-facing APIs and tools for ads creation, management, and measurement
• Architect distributed systems operating at massive scale with reliability and performance guarantees
• Partner with Product, Design, and Research to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Drive 0→1 product development through rapid prototyping and iterative deployment
• Ensure safety, privacy, fairness, and policy compliance across all monetization systems
