Software Engineer - Defense Applications

About this role

Palantir seeks a front-end engineer to build defense applications that empower military personnel with data-driven decision tools. You'll develop user-facing features using React, geospatial technologies, and Palantir's Foundry platform, working closely with deployed customers in fast-paced, autonomous teams.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end front-end feature development for defense applications used by military personnel
• Collaborate with forward-deployed engineers and customers to design and rapidly deliver solutions
• Build interfaces using React, Maplibre, Three.js, and related technologies
• Consume and contribute to in-house libraries and toolchains for cross-application functionality
• Mentor teammates and share expertise as you develop deep knowledge of specific applications
• Balance technical excellence with practical delivery in dynamic, shorter project cycles
