About this role

Peregrine seeks a Product-focused Software Engineer to build user-facing features across their AI-enabled public safety platform. You'll own major product capabilities like Search, Dashboards, Maps, and Mobile, working full-stack from React frontend to Python backend while partnering closely with design and product teams.

What you'll do

  • Own and ship major user-facing features across Search, Dossier, Charts, Dashboards, Maps, Networks, and Mobile
  • Build scalable search and semantic discovery experiences serving billions of records
  • Design collaborative, real-time interfaces for maps, networks, and data exploration
  • Integrate AI-powered capabilities while ensuring source transparency and user trust
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product, and deployment teams to iterate based on user feedback
  • Optimize for latency, interaction design, and resilience in complex workflows
