Product Engineer, Hardware Lifecycle & Refurbishment
About this role
Lead the technical strategy for refurbishing and redeploying enterprise-grade storage systems at Everpure's Reverse and Remanufacturing Operations. You'll partner with hardware engineering, quality, and global manufacturers to scale sustainable hardware infrastructure, optimize yield, and reduce total cost of ownership through robust manufacturing processes and lifecycle management.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end refurbishment workstreams from requirements through factory release, including BOM development and PLM/ERP traceability
- Establish production lines with contract manufacturers, overseeing capacity planning, tooling, FAI/FAIR, and MPI documentation
- Analyze failure modes and drive root cause corrective actions to improve First Pass Yield, DPPM, and cycle times
- Serve as technical bridge between Hardware Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to manage risks and dependencies
- Define manufacturing specifications, implement process controls, and manage configuration control across hardware programs
- Lead site validation and global factory readiness initiatives for rapid, high-yield production ramp
