Quality Engineer

Persona AI seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to establish the quality function from the ground up for their humanoid robotics manufacturing operations. This role involves defining inspection standards, managing supplier quality, driving ISO 9001 certification, and overseeing the entire quality chain from field to factory to suppliers.

What you'll do

• Design and implement incoming inspection processes, equipment procurement, and compliance tracking systems
• Manage supplier quality standards including PPAP approvals and 8D root cause analysis
• Investigate field failures using a field-factory-supplier framework and implement mistake-proofing measures
• Lead ISO 9001 certification initiative including process documentation and audit preparation
• Specify, procure, and maintain precision metrology and measurement equipment with calibration oversight
• Establish factory floor quality metrics and visual management standards while collaborating cross-functionally

• Quality engineering and manufacturing quality (10+ years)

• Metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM machines)
• Technical drawing and GD&T interpretation
