About this role
Pinterest is seeking a Backend Software Engineer II to design and scale tvScientific's contract and billing systems. You'll build services supporting diverse contract structures, billing models, and stakeholders while ensuring accuracy, auditability, and reliability at scale.
What you'll do
- Design and implement backend systems for contract lifecycle management including creation, versioning, approvals, and renewals
- Build contract management capabilities for CPA and CPM billing models with rate management and impression-based calculations
- Develop APIs and services serving customers, operations teams, and finance stakeholders
- Ensure systems maintain data integrity, auditability, and compliance across all contract workflows
- Lead technical design discussions and mentor other engineers on backend quality standards
- Improve system observability, reliability, and performance as contract volume scales
