Security Engineer, Cloud
About this role
Ramp seeks a Security Engineer to strengthen cloud infrastructure security and embed protective measures into financial transaction systems. You'll drive cloud security improvements, design secure infrastructure components, and collaborate across teams to ensure inherent security in production deployments.
What you'll do
- Evaluate cloud deployments and identify security enhancement opportunities
- Design and implement security-focused infrastructure primitives integrated into products
- Lead remediation efforts for identified security issues across the technology stack
- Partner with infrastructure and DevOps teams on secure architecture design
- Shape and execute the cloud security roadmap
What they're looking for
- AWS and Terraform (minimum 3 years)
- Software development (minimum 5 years)
- Cloud security architecture
- Infrastructure as code
- Python and Flask (preferred)
- Multi-cloud experience (Azure, GCP preferred)
- Developer experience optimization
- Project ownership and execution
