About this role
Ramp is seeking a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed to solve complex problems for enterprise finance customers by building autonomous agents and end-to-end product solutions. You'll work directly with large customers to understand their pain points, drive product decisions, and ship capabilities that help them manage billions in spend.
What you'll do
- Deliver end-to-end software solutions for enterprise customers, from problem discovery through autonomous agent implementation
- Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Account Management to close deals and activate customers
- Drive core product roadmap decisions by specializing in a product area and determining when to build custom solutions
- Build and iterate on autonomous agents that expand Ramp's capabilities
- Engage directly with customers to understand pain points and scope product requirements
- Make prioritization calls between custom implementations and broader platform initiatives
