Software Engineer, Onboarding

About this role

Join Ramp's Onboarding team to build customer acquisition infrastructure that powers account creation, fraud detection, and decisioning systems. You'll own end-to-end product flows while collaborating across product, risk, and operations to drive growth for a fintech platform processing $200B+ in annual spend.

What you'll do

• Develop software solutions for new customer acquisition and onboarding at scale
• Automate and enhance the application decisioning system interfacing with fraud, compliance, and credit models
• Own the complete customer journey from discovery through approval and product activation
• Drive metric-focused software development to improve business outcomes
• Partner with cross-functional teams including product, sales, risk, and finance
• Scale operations team productivity through automation and AI-assisted tools

What they're looking for

• Software development (2+ years minimum)
• Python and Flask
• SQL
• Modern observability and monitoring tools
• Fast-paced shipping and iterative development
• Problem-solving with pragmatic approaches
• AI/LLM application in production (nice-to-have)
• Fintech or payments domain knowledge (nice-to-have)
