About this role

REGENT is seeking a Test Engineer to support the development of Seagliders—revolutionary wing-in-ground-effect vessels for coastal transportation. You'll plan and execute sea and air test campaigns, manage instrumentation, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance these innovative craft from prototype toward production.

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute sea and air test events, preparing vehicles, infrastructure, and instrumentation for safe operations
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and test cards with defined objectives, success criteria, and data requirements
  • Coordinate test readiness including vehicle configuration checks, instrumentation setup, and field logistics
  • Monitor telemetry, capture observations, and support troubleshooting during real-time test operations
  • Collect, organize, and analyze test data to generate post-test reports informing engineering decisions
  • Contribute to safety processes including hazard identification and operational risk assessments
