About this role
Relativity Space seeks an RF System Operations Engineer II to build and operate ground RF systems supporting Terran R launch campaigns. You'll integrate complex RF hardware, monitor signal quality during launches, and develop operational procedures while traveling 25-50% to ground stations and launch sites.
What you'll do
- Commission RF ground systems and operate telemetry receivers during launches and flight tests
- Integrate and troubleshoot RF hardware including antennas, receivers, amplifiers, and distribution networks
- Monitor signal quality metrics such as signal strength, bit error rates, and link performance
- Develop operational procedures, readiness checklists, and troubleshooting guides
- Travel to ground stations and launch locations to support deployments
- Validate RF system performance during ground operations and critical missions
