About this role
Retell AI seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern to work directly on real customer deployments of voice AI solutions. You'll bridge engineering and customer success by building, testing, and deploying AI voice systems, debugging production issues, and feeding learnings back into product improvements.
What you'll do
- Build and deploy technical solutions for real customer use cases involving voice AI
- Participate in customer calls to understand problems and translate them into technical implementations
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and AI systems
- Write and ship production code quickly with proper testing
- Identify patterns across customer deployments and propose product improvements
- Own projects end-to-end from initial customer problem through production deployment and iteration

- Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar programming languages
- API integration and debugging
- Troubleshooting across full technical stacks
- Understanding of AI systems and voice AI concepts
