Rocket Lab seeks an Electrical Engineer I/II to design and develop avionics hardware for spacecraft programs in Long Beach, CA. You'll work across the full lifecycle of electrical systems—from requirements and schematic capture through testing and production support—in a fast-paced space systems environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop PCBA requirements collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Create schematics and perform PCB layout using Altium Designer
  • Perform circuit analysis including power, tolerance, and reliability assessments
  • Execute PCBA design verification and system integration testing
  • Support manufacturing and production as needed
  • Test and operate electrical systems on orbital missions
