About this role

Rocket Lab seeks an RF Phased Array Engineer to develop and support next-generation RF products and antenna systems for space missions. You'll handle antenna modeling, component evaluation, full lifecycle product development from design through flight, and customer technical support in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

What you'll do

  • Model and simulate phased array antenna performance for current programs and proposals
  • Support end-to-end product development including architecture, prototyping, integration, testing, and flight qualification
  • Develop test plans and procedures for active antenna characterization (EIRP, G/T measurements)
  • Collaborate with RF, digital, power, mechanical, thermal, and structural engineering teams
  • Assess COTS RF components and support vendor interfaces for system integration
  • Provide technical support to customers and programs including proposal assessments and anomaly troubleshooting
