About this role
Rocket Lab seeks a Software Engineer II to develop and maintain mission-critical operations software for rocket launches and spacecraft operations. You'll build telemetry systems, user-facing command interfaces, and backend data processing tools supporting Electron, Neutron, and Photon platforms.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain user-facing software for rocket launches and on-orbit spacecraft operations
- Build and maintain systems to ingest, process, and store telemetry data
- Perform independent engineering work with potential product ownership responsibilities
- Create documentation for software operations and deployment
- Coordinate with stakeholders across Operations Software and Terrestrial Software teams
