About this role

Rubrik seeks a Sales Engineer to serve K-12 educational institutions, combining technical expertise with sales acumen to position the company's hybrid cloud data management and cyber resilience platform. You'll partner with account executives and channel partners to design integrated data protection solutions tailored to school district requirements, compliance needs, and budget constraints.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical leadership and architect data protection and cyber resilience solutions for K-12 customers and IT leaders
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution architectures to school administrators and C-level executives
  • Qualify sales opportunities by assessing technical requirements, competitive positioning, and public sector funding cycles (e.g., E-Rate budgets)
  • Act as trusted advisor to develop solutions aligned with K-12 operational, regulatory, and technical requirements
  • Partner with account executives and channel partners to drive regional revenue and customer technical engagement
  • Demonstrate expertise in Rubrik's products, distributed architectures, cloud data management, and backup/disaster recovery solutions
