Software Engineer

About this role

Rundoo is modernizing supply-chain software for independent hardware and building-material stores. As a Software Engineer, you'll develop end-to-end features across a Go backend, TypeScript/React web, and React Native mobile platform while working closely with a small engineering pod in our Redwood City office.

What you'll do

• Ship features end-to-end from backend logic to web and mobile UI
• Own scoped projects (1-3 weeks) from conception through rollout with minimal direction
• Become an expert in your pod's product area to confidently fix bugs and add features
• Write design docs and coordinate with PM and tech lead on requirements and architecture
• Conduct customer research by directly calling store owners to understand their needs and gather feedback
• Review peer code and contribute to code quality through collaborative feedback
