About this role
Saronic Technologies seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for 2nd Shift to design and optimize production processes for autonomous surface vessels serving the Department of Defense. You'll drive process improvements, ensure quality standards, and collaborate across engineering and supply chain teams to bring cutting-edge maritime autonomy systems to market efficiently.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for autonomous surface vessels using lean principles
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate specifications into production workflows
- Establish quality control measures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and stay current with industry advances
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation ensuring regulatory compliance
- Train production personnel and troubleshoot issues during manufacturing execution
