About this role

Saronic Technologies seeks a Security Engineer to own continuous cloud security posture across commercial AWS and GovCloud environments. You'll build automated guardrails and secure-by-default patterns that enable fast, secure development while maintaining compliance with government frameworks like CMMC and FedRAMP.

What you'll do

  • Manage cloud security posture (CSPM), detect misconfigurations, and drive remediation across multi-account environments
  • Run cloud vulnerability management at scale using tools like Prowler and CNAPP, prioritizing by real attack paths
  • Build reusable Terraform modules, Service Control Policies, and policy-as-code to eliminate misconfiguration classes
  • Design least-privilege IAM architecture across accounts and hunt privilege-escalation paths
  • Build cloud-native detections and automated remediation using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Config, and Security Hub
  • Map technical controls to compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, FedRAMP) and maintain audit-ready evidence
